How a Prediction Market Feeds a Token Vault

JBTC and JuniorShot are two separate companies that intend to connect through one agreement at launch. Here is how value is designed to move, and what is not running yet.

Key Takeaways
  • Status: JuniorShot runs today as a free points demo. Points have no cash value, cannot be purchased, and are not redeemable for any token or asset.
  • At launch, JuniorShot is intended to charge a public rake of up to 3 percent, published before you stake. That would be the venue revenue. There is no revenue today.
  • The commercial agreement between the two companies that would carry the fixed services fee is not yet executed.
  • The services fee and claim fees are designed to fund open market purchases of JBTC into the vault. No purchases have happened.
  • The reward vault and the daily claim activate at TGE, which has not happened. When the loop runs it creates a buyer, not a guaranteed price.

Most token projects bolt a product onto a token and hope the story holds. We built it the other way around: a venue designed to earn revenue whether or not you care about the token, and a token designed to benefit from that revenue through one narrow, published channel.

Status, August 2026. Everything described below is the design for launch. It is not running today. JuniorShot currently operates as a free points demo: points have no cash value, cannot be purchased, and are not redeemable for any token or asset. The venue therefore has no revenue. The commercial agreement between JuniorShot and JBTC Labs that would carry the services fee is not yet executed. The reward vault and the daily claim activate at TGE, which has not happened. No open market purchases of JBTC have taken place.

This article is the map of that channel. It is deliberately a mechanism story, not a price story, and it ends with the qualifiers we actually mean.

Two Things, Kept Separate On Purpose

JuniorShot is a parimutuel prediction market for Bitcoin outcomes. At launch it accepts USDT, USDC, BTC and JBTC as entry assets that convert at deposit into single denomination pools, and charges a public rake of up to 3 percent, published before you stake. That rake becomes the venue revenue. The venue never requires anyone to hold JBTC, never gates a feature behind the token, and never lists a market about the token.

JBTC is a fixed supply asset with a vault. The two are separate structures with separate books, intended to be connected by a single arm's length agreement. That agreement is not yet signed. We think the separation is a feature. It means the venue competes on product, and the token mechanics can be described in one paragraph without hand waving.

The Channel

Here is the loop as designed, start to finish.

Players stake into rounds. Settled rounds pay the winning side and the venue keeps the published rake. Out of its revenue, the venue is intended to pay a fixed services fee under the agreement. That fee would have one job: funding open market purchases of JBTC, with the purchased tokens going into the vault. None of this happens today, because the venue is a free points demo with no revenue and the agreement is not executed.

The vault is where holders come in. From TGE, anyone holding JBTC can claim rewards from the vault pool daily. The rewards are tokens the vault already owns. Supply is fixed at issuance. No minting, no inflation, ever. When activity on the venue grows, the fee grows, the purchases grow, and the vault deepens. When activity is quiet, the loop is quiet. The demand channel is designed to be tied to usage, not to an emissions schedule that runs whether anyone shows up or not.

Why We Chose Usage Over Emissions

Emissions schedules are easy to launch and hard to survive. They pay people for arriving early, then bleed sellers into the market on a timer. We watched that movie enough times.

A usage funded vault inverts the pressure. The recurring buyer in the market would be the venue fee, and it only buys because rounds settled. Holders who claim draw from tokens that were bought, not printed. The system can be audited from public data once it runs: pools, rake, fee, buys, vault balance. The CertiK assessment of the BEP-20 contract on BNB Chain is still in progress and the final report is not published yet. When it publishes, every number in this paragraph ships with it.

What This Is Not

Read this part twice. Nothing here is running. When it runs, open market purchases create a buyer, not a guaranteed price. A deeper vault is not a promised payout. Venue activity can fall as well as rise, and nothing here entitles anyone to profit. No licence has been obtained and no real money venue is operating. We describe the plumbing because we think honest plumbing is rare enough to be a selling point, not because plumbing predicts a chart.

If you want the venue itself, the free points demo is at juniorshot.xyz. If you are an eligible partner who wants to back the current phase, the Consortium page explains how allocation requests and eligibility review work. Everyone else can simply watch the numbers when they go live. That is what they are for.

FAQ

Common Questions

Does JuniorShot require JBTC?

No. At launch JBTC is one of four accepted entry assets alongside USDT, USDC and BTC. The venue never gates features behind holding the token. Today the venue runs as a free points demo.

Where do vault rewards come from?

From TGE, from tokens the vault already holds, with the intent to accumulate more through open market purchases funded by the services fee. Supply is fixed and nothing is minted. The vault and the daily claim are not running today.

Is any of this running right now?

No. The venue is a free points demo with no revenue, the commercial agreement between the two companies is not executed, no open market purchases have happened, and TGE has not taken place.

Is this a promise that JBTC goes up?

No. The design creates recurring demand tied to venue activity once it runs, but it creates a buyer, not a guaranteed price. Markets set prices.
