Key Takeaways
  • Today JuniorShot is a free points demo. Points have no cash value, cannot be purchased, and are not redeemable for any token or asset.
  • A JuniorShot round runs on a fixed clock: stakes open, the pool locks, the round settles on the median of five exchange sources.
  • At launch you enter with USDT, USDC, BTC or JBTC. Assets convert at deposit, every pool settles in a single denomination, and odds are never split.
  • Winners divide the losing pool pro rata after a public rake of up to 3 percent, published before you stake, and the strike price is read at lock so nobody knows it when they stake.
  • Agents are built in for every user, with a budget you set and a drawdown limit that stops the agent, not your account.

Status, August 2026: JuniorShot runs today as a free points demo. Points have no cash value, cannot be purchased, and are not redeemable for any token or asset. Real money staking is planned for launch and no licence has been obtained yet. The mechanics below are the design.

Watch a JuniorShot round for three minutes and you have seen the whole product. Bitcoin is at a price. You think it ends the round higher, or you think it ends lower. You stake. The clock runs out. The pool settles. That is it.

The simplicity is the point. Under it sits a market structure that took us longer to get right than the interface did, because the structure is what decides who keeps the money.

The Round Clock

Every round runs on a fixed, published clock. Stakes open first. During the open window anyone can join either side of the question with any supported asset. Then staking closes and the round locks. Rounds overlap, so one round is always open for staking while the previous one runs locked. The strike price is read at lock, after staking closes, so nobody knows the strike when they stake and a late staker sees none of the move that decides the round. Then the round settles on the oracle price and winners are computed.

No round waits for a market maker to show up. No round settles on a number the operator can touch. The settlement price is the median of five exchange direct sources (Binance, Coinbase, Kraken, Bitstamp and OKX), with at least two required to respond and agree within 0.5 percent with a published deviation void rule, and the settlement rule is written on the round before you stake.

One Pool, One Denomination

You can enter with USDT, USDC, BTC or JBTC. Assets convert at deposit with a visible quote. Every pool settles in a single denomination. Odds are never split. This matters more than it sounds. On venues that run separate books per asset, liquidity fragments and your odds depend on which token you happen to hold. On JuniorShot a dollar is a dollar, whatever wrapper it arrived in.

What Winners Actually Get

JuniorShot is parimutuel. If your side wins, you split the losing pool pro rata with everyone who agreed with you, in proportion to what you staked. Your stake returns in full on a win, on top of your share. Before payout the venue takes a public rake of up to 3 percent, published before you stake. There is no early bonus and no weighting of any kind. The payout split is plain pro rata, and fairness comes from the strike being read at lock, after staking closes. Ties refund every stake with no rake taken.

There is no order book, no quote, no spread, and no house position. The venue cannot win when you lose, because the venue is not on the other side. The other side is people who disagreed with you.

Agents For Everyone

Professional desks automate. Retail mostly cannot, because building and hosting a strategy is a job. So we ship agents as a first class feature. You pick an agent with published rules, give it a budget, and set a drawdown limit. When the limit hits, the agent stops. Your account does not.

Agents run the same rounds on the same terms as manual players. They are a tool, not an edge sold to a privileged tier.

What This Does Not Promise

A parimutuel pool is negative sum after the rake. Structure changes who has the advantage, not the arithmetic. You can lose what you stake, and nothing on this page or on the venue says otherwise. What the structure removes is the quiet stuff: the spread you never see, the latency race you cannot win, the counterparty whose job is to beat you.

FAQ

Common Questions

Is JuniorShot live right now?

It runs as a free points demo at juniorshot.xyz with simulated pools and a real Bitcoin price feed. Points have no cash value, cannot be purchased, and are not redeemable for any token or asset. Real money staking is planned for launch with the token generation event on BNB Chain/Hemi. Closed beta comes first.

Do I need JBTC to play?

No. At launch JBTC is one of four accepted entry assets alongside USDT, USDC and BTC. Holding JBTC is never required.

What does a round cost?

There is no spread and no house position. At launch the venue charges a public rake of up to 3 percent, published before you stake. Ties refund all stakes with no rake. The current demo is free.
